About the Author

Prof. Kumar Molugaram obtained his Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad. Master’s Degree in Transportation Engineering from J.N.T. University, Hyderabad and Doctorate degree from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. He published over 60 research papers in various International and National journals and conferences.   He supervised more than 35 M.E. Dissertations and two Ph. D Thesis.  He has completed one research project from Ministry of Rural Roads, Govt. of India in 2010. Recently he was sanctioned   with UGC minor research project.  He is a member in several committees of Govt. of AP, Telangana and Govt. of India.  He was awarded for best paper in 2010 (national conference) and 2014 (international conference).  He worked as Additional Controller of Examinations, OU, Chairman, Board of Studies in Civil Engineering (Local and Global), OU and Director of Evaluation, Exam Cell, UCE.  He is a Co-ordinator (STA), PMGSY, NRRDA, Govt. of India. He is a life member of several research and technical organizations such as FIE, IRC, IUT, ASCE, IIBE, and SRS. He visited many international cities/countries such as London (2005), Sydney (2006), Melbourne (2011), Singapore (2006), San-Francisco (2007), Chicago (2007), Washington D.C  and Newyork (2013), Rome (2009), Capri (2009),  Bangkok (2010 & 2014), Hong-Kong (2011), Toronto (2013), Beijing and Shanghai (2014) and Germany (2014), Switzerland (2014), Paris (2014), Netherlands (2014) and Belgium (2014) to present his research papers in international conferences/seminars. He visited 18 states in the country. He organized one national conference on “Civil Engineering Systems - 2006”, five workshops and one Training programme till date. He delivered more than 150 expert lectures in the area of Transportation Engineering, optimization Techniques and engineering research methodology on various national/state level platforms in India. Prof. Kumar has over 18 years of Teaching, Research and Consultancy experience. Presently he is serving as Professor and Head of Civil Engineering Department and Director Infrastructure, Osmania University.

Mrs. D. Annapurna obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from G. Pulla Reddy Engineering College, Sri Krishna Devaraya University, Kurnool and Master’s degree in Structural Engineering from Osmania University. Presently, she is Assistant Professor of Civil Engineering Department, University College of Engineering, Osmania University, Hyderabad. She published more than 10 papers in National and International Conferences. She has over 10 years of teaching experience.
