Pharmaceutical Technology is one of the most important subject in pharmaceutical sciences and deals with preparation of various dosage forms by variety of techniques on laboratory scale as well as on large scale and their in-process and out process (final) evaluation. “Pharmaceutical Technology: A Practical Manual” discusses the techniques used in manufacturing and evaluation of different dosage forms in simple and easy to understand manner with the support of theory and experiments. Due to its organization, the manual can be used at different levels i.e., graduation and post graduation in Pharmaceutics as well as in Quality Assurance. As a teacher having 18 years experience in teaching pharmaceutics related subjects specially Pharmaceutical technology, the author has tried to explicate basic pharmaceutical techniques for manufacturing of conventional dosage forms (granules, tablets, capsules, Emulsions, Suspensions and Aerosols) and Modified Release dosage forms (Enteric coated tablet, Solid dispersion, Controlled release tablet).
