About the Editor:

 C. S. R. Prabhu is former Director General of National Informatics Center (NIC), Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government of India, New Delhi. While in NIC, he initiated a large number of E-Governance projects such as E-Panchayat, Rural E-Seva, Block Information System, Taluka Information System, Collectorate 2000 and General Information Service Terminal of National Informatics Center (GISTNIC). Before joining NIC he was with TCS, CMC, TELCO, TES in various capacities in India and U.S.A. 

            He was the Chairman of the Programme Committee and the Editor of the proceedings of International Conference on Management of Data, 1998 (COMAD 98), Chairman of National Conference on Mobile Computing 2000, Member of Programme Committee of IEEE International Conference on Data Engineering 2004. Presently he is Director (Research), KMIT, Hyderabad.
