About the Editors:
Dr. Brij B.
Gupta received his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee, Uttarakhand,
India, in the field of Information and cyber Security. In 2009, Dr. Gupta was
selected for Canadian Commonwealth Scholarship Award by the Government of
Canada. He has published and presented more than 150 research papers (including
4 books and 18 book chapters) in international journals and conferences of high
repute, including, IEEE, Elsevier, ACM, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis Group,
and Inderscience. He has visited several countries, including Canada, Japan, Australia,
China, Spain, Hong Kong, Italy, Malaysia, and Macau, to present his research work.
His biography was selected and published in the 3oth edition of Marquis Who’s Who
in the World, 2012. In addition, he has been selected to receive "2017 Albert
Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award" by Marquis Who’s Who in the
World, USA. Dr. Gupta also received Sir Visvesvaraya Young Faculty Research Fellowship
Award in 2017 from Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, Government
of India. Recently, he has been awarded with "2018 Best Faculty Award for
research activities" and “2018 Best Faculty Award for Project and
Laboratory Development" from the National Institute of Technology,
Kurukshetra, Haryana, India.
Dr. Gupta is also working as a principal investigator of various R&D
projects sponsored by various Government of India funding agencies. He is
serving as an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics,
IEEE Access, and the executive editor of IJITCA and Inderscience. Moreover. Dr.
Gupta is also leading the international Journal of Cloud Applications and
Computing (IJCAC)' IGI Global, as an editor in chief. He is also serving as a
reviewer for various journals of IEEE, Springer, Wiley, Taylor & Francis Group,
etc. He also served as the TPC chair of 2018 IEEE INFSCOM: CCSNA. Moreover, he
served as a publicity chair of 10th NSS 2016 and'17th IFSA-SCIS 2017, which
were held in Taiwan and Japan, respectively. He is also the founder chair of
FISP and ISCW workshops that are organized by different countries every year.
Dr. Gupta has served as the organizing chair of Special Session on Recent Advancements in Cyber Security (SS-CBS)
in IEEE Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE), Japan , every year since
2014. He received outstanding, paper awards in both regular and student
categories in 5th IEEE, Global Conference on Consumer Electronics (GCCE) in
Kyoto, Japan, on October 7-lO, 2Ol6. Dr. Gupta is a senior member of IEEE, Member
ACM, SIGCOMM, SDIWC, Internet Society, institute of Nonotechnology, Life
Member, International Association of Engineers (IAENG), Life Member, and International
Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). He was
also a visiting researcher in Yamaguchi University, Japan; in-Deakin University,
Victoria, Australia; and in Swinburne University of Technology, Melbourne, Victoria,
Australia, during 2015 and 2018, 2017, and 2018, respectively. At present, Dr. Gupta
is working as an assistant professor in the Department of Computer Engineering,
the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra, Harayana, India. His
research interest, include. information security cyber security, mobile/smartphone,
cloud computing, web security intrusion detection, and computer networks and
phishing.
Dr.
Dharma P. Agrawal is a distinguished
professor of the Ohio Board of Regents and the founding director for the Center
for Distributed and Mobile Computing in the Department of Electrical
Engineering and Computing Systems. He has been a faculty member in the ECE
Department, Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (on sabbatical
leave); NC State University, Raleigh, North Carolina; and the Wayne State
University, Detroit, Michigan. His current research interests include
applications of sensor networks in monitoring patients with Parkinson's disease
and neurosis, applications of sensor networks in monitoring fitness of
athletes' personal wellness, applications of sensor networks in monitoring
firefighters' physical condition in action, efficient secured communication in
sensor networks, secured group communication in vehicular networks, use of femto
cells in LTE technology and interference issues, heterogeneous wireless
networks, and resource allocation and security in mesh networks for 4G
technology. His recent contribution in the form of a co-authored introductory
text book on Introduction to Wireless and Mobile Computing, 4th
edition, has been widely accepted throughout the world. The book has been
reprinted both in China and India and translated into Korean and Chinese
languages. His co-authored book on Ad Hoc and Sensor
Networks, 2nd edition, has been published in the Spring o f 2011. A

World Scientific, and co-authored books entitled Wireless
Sensor Networks: Deployment Alternatives and Analytical Modeling, Innovative

in Cognitive Radio Networks have been published by
Lambert Academic. He is a founding editorial board member of International
journal on Distributed Sensor Networks, International journal of Ad Hoc and
Ubiquitous Computing (IJAHUC), International Journal of Ad Hoc &
Sensor Wireless Networks, and
the journal of Information Assurance and Security
(JIAS). He has served as the editor o f the IEEE
Computer Magazine, the IEEE Transactions on Computers, the journal of
Parallel and Distributed Systems, and the
International Journal of High Speed Computing. He
has been the program chair and general chair for numerous international conferences
and meetings. He has received numerous certificates from the IEEE Computer
Society. He was awarded a Third Millennium Medal
by the IEEE for his outstanding contributions. He has
delivered keynote speeches at 34 different international conferences. He has
published more than 655 papers and given 52 different tutorials and extensive
training courses in various conferences in the United States and numerous
institutions in Taiwan, Korea, Jordan, UAE, Malaysia, and India in the areas of
ad hoc and sensor networks and mesh networks, including security issues. He has
graduated 72 PhDs and 58 MS students. He has been named as an ISI highly cited
researcher, is a fellow of the IEEE,
the ACM, the AAAS, and the World Innovation Foundation, and is a recent recipient
of 2008 IEEE CS Harry Goode Award. Recently, in June 2011, he was selected as
the best mentor for doctoral students at the University o f Cincinnati,
Cincinnati, Ohio. Recently, he has been inducted as a charter fellow of the
National Academy of Inventers. He has also been elected as a fellow of the
International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology
(IACSIT), since 2013.
Dr. Haoxiang Wang is currently the director and lead executive
faculty member of GoPerception Laboratory, New York, and has been a Cornell
University Alumni since 2014. His research interests include multimedia
information processing, pattern recognition and machine learning, remote
sensing image processing, and data-driven business intelligence. He has co-authored
more than 30 journals and conference papers in these areas, including IEEE SMC,
ICPR, and ICTAI. He severed as the guest editor for Multimedia Tools and
Applications, International journal of Information Technology and Web
Engineering, and International journal of Computer
Science & Applications. He has been serving as a technical program
committee member or the session chair for dozens of international conferences
and the reviewer for more than 20 prestigious international journals. |
