About the Authors:
Siva Krishna Pushadapu is an Assistant Professor in the
Department of Pharmaceutics at Vignan Pharmacy College, Vadlamudi, Guntur, with
over seven years of combined experience in industry and academia. He has made
significant contributions to pharmaceutical research, with five papers
published in reputed SCI/Scopus/WoS-indexed journals, alongside a book and
three book chapters. He holds four patents, including one design patent, and
has successfully secured research grants worth 3 lakhs from various funding
agencies.He is a life member of various professional bodies, including IPA,
IPGA, and APTI. His dedication to scientific excellence has earned him the
Junior Scientist Award at the ABAP competitions at SABNIP 2023 and the Best
Presentation Award at the prestigious 73rd IPC held at Hitex, Hyderabad in
2024.
Srinivasa Babu Puttagunta, Professor and Principal of
Vignan Pharmacy College, Guntur, is a distinguished figure in Pharmaceutical
Sciences with over 26 years of impactful work. Under his leadership, Vignan
Pharmacy College achieved an A++ NAAC grade, and NBA accreditation, and holds
2(f) and 12(B) UGC status. He's extensive research includes more than 200
publications in high-impact journals, with research grants exceeding 51 lakhs
from AICTE, DST, and UBA, along with over 5 lakhs from non-government sources.
His contributions include five patents, two authored books, and mentorship to
nine Ph.D. scholars.
He
serves as Vice President of the Indian Pharmaceutical Association (IPA) Andhra
Pradesh and General Secretary of the IPGA-AP, and he is a life member of key
professional bodies such as IPA, IPGA, ISTE, APTI, and IACP. Recognized for his
regulatory expertise as a Tepp Expert and CPCSEA nominee, he has been awarded a
fellowship by the Association of Biotechnology and Pharmacy, an Associate
Fellowship by the Andhra Pradesh Akademie of Sciences, and the International
Stanford Research Award, highlighting his global influence in the field. |
