About the Author
Prof. C. Parameswara Murthy has been on the faculty of Osmania University since 1974 and as Professor of chemistry since 1992. He has recently assumed responsibility as BOS Chairman in Chemistry, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He was a Visiting Scientist / Post-Doctoral fellow at various institutions abroad including University of Karlsruhe, Germany (1980-81); Max-Planck Institute for Radiation Chemistry, Germany (1985-86); Ohio State University, USA (1987-88), Hahn-Meitner Institute (1993) and was a visiting Professor at University of Asmara, Eritrea (1997-98). He has 25 publications in Journals of international repute and authored & edited six books. Prof. Andra Naidu obtained B.Sc (special) chemistry, M.Sc (special) Biochemistry and Ph.D (Biochemistry) from Osmania University. He has about 32 years of teaching and research experience in JNTU College of Engineering, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. He worked as Coordinator, Academic and Planning and also Coordinator of the Steering Committee for the accreditation of the University by NAAC. The University is accredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC during 2004. He has published more than twenty research papers in National and International journals. Dr. Naidu has superannuated in 2008 as Professor of Chemistry, JNTU College of Engineering, Kukatpally, Hyderabad.
