About the Book
Delivering the active medicament to the body system for a certain therapeutic action is the central idea of Pharmaceutical technology. About the Authors
Dr. Ajay Semalty, M Pharm, MBA, Ph D is presently working as Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutics), Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, H.N.B. Garhwal University Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand.
He was awarded “Young Scientist Award” of the year 2007 by Uttarakhand Council of Science & Technology (UCOST), Govt. of Uttarakhand. He has been granted 3 research projects funded by DST, UGC and AICTE. He has a total of 46 papers (16 International, 30 National) in various peer reviewed national and international journals of high impact to his credit. He has participated in various international and national conferences, presented research work and published 42 (13 International, 29 National) Scientific Abstracts. He is peer reviewer for various pharmacy journals of Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Informa, Springer and Bentham. He is member of editorial board of various national journals. He has also published a book entitled “Art of Writing and Publishing in Pharmaceutical Journals” (published by Pharma Book Syndicate, Hyderabad).
Dr. Mona Semalty, M Pharm, MBA, Ph D is presently working as Asst. Prof. (Pharmaceutics), Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, H.N.B. Garhwal University Srinagar (Garhwal), Uttarakhand. Her focus area of research is novel drug delivery by microparticulate systems and herbal drug delivery for diabetes and hair loss (alopecia).
She has been granted research projects by DST, UGC and AICTE. She has a total of 42 papers (15 International, 27 National) in various peer reviewed national and international journals of high impact to her credit. She has participated in various conferences, presented her research work and published 37 (13 International, 24 National) Scientific Abstracts. She is peer reviewer for various pharmacy journals of Elsevier, Taylor & Francis, Informa, Springer and Bentham. She has also authored a book entitled “Art of Writing and Publishing in Pharmaceutical Journals” (published by Pharma Book Syndicate, Hyderabad).
Prof. M.S.M. Rawat, Ph D (IIT Delhi) has a very rich teaching and research experience of more than 40 years. He is an eminent scientist and academician known for his outstanding research work on natural products and medicinal plants. He has guided 30 students for doctorate and 2 students for D. Sc. He has completed 10 research projects funded by various funding agencies (UGC, AICTE, DBT, UCOST etc.). He has published more than 150 papers in various national and international journals of repute. He is editor and peer reviewer of various national and international journals of repute. He has also presented his research work and delivered invited lectures in various national and international conferences. He has also published two books. |
