About the Author
C V Agrawal is a retired Professor of Applied Chemistry, Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. He is one of the few celebrated authors in the field of Material Science and his book “Chemistry of Engineering Materials” is highly acclaimed and got eight editions with several reprints.
C. Parameswara Murthy has been on the faculty of Osmania University since 1974 and as Professor of chemistry since 1992. He has recently assumed responsibility as BOS Chairman in Chemistry, Osmania University, Hyderabad. He was a Visiting Scientist / Post-Doctoral fellow at various institutions abroad including University of Karlsruhe, Germany (1980-81); Max-Planck Institute for Radiation Chemistry, Germany (1985-86); Ohio State University, USA (1987-88), Hahn-Meitner Institute (1993) and was a visiting Professor at University of Asmara, Eritrea (1997-98). He has 25 publications in Journals of international repute and authored and edited six books.
